At Hubhopper, a Delhi-based podcast hosting and distribution platform, I worked as a Full Stack Developer. My role involved designing and optimizing the embedded player interface and developing a comprehensive analytics system for podcasts. I led the implementation of various features including chapter management, automated email analytics, episode upload functionality, and subscription plans, contributing significantly to the overall user experience and system functionality.
Responsibilities
- Designed and optimized the embedded player interface and developed comprehensive analytics including Listen Through Rate (LTR), unique listener count per video second, and overall video performance metrics.
- Developed and integrated chapter feature for podcast episodes, encompassing frontend UI and backend API enhancements. Implemented robust chapter management capabilities, enhancing user interaction and content navigation for podcast episodes.
- Implemented automated email sender for download analytics, utilizing queue mechanisms and AWS Lambda, delivering comprehensive analytics as a ZIP file.
- Led end-to-end implementation of the episode upload feature, seamlessly integrating frontend, AWS cloud storage, and backend API functionalities.
- Engineered a comprehensive podcast analytics system, including intuitive UI analytics graphs for enhanced data visualization.
- Managed batch processing jobs to handle daily listen impressions of podcasts, efficiently storing data in Elasticsearch for easy access and analytics. Implemented Cron and PHP to ensure seamless execution of processing tasks, providing timely updates for podcast analytics.
- Designed and implemented subscription plans using React, PHP, Python, AWS Lambda, and RabbitMQ. Developed a comprehensive full-stack solution, demonstrating proficiency in creating end-to-end systems with diverse technologies, resulting in a seamless user experience.
- Developed batch deletion functionality for inactive podcasts via RSS feed integration from external platforms.
